The rush of another year has come and still I find that there is not a bit of monotonousness. Everything is so new and fresh and very exciting. Things that we are even going over for the second or third time I find are still just as interesting if not more so than the first time I learned it. I am constantly being challenged to put actions to what I am learning and understand what it looks like to apply these principles to my life.

So far this year we have gone on our beginning of the year retreat to Savannah Ga. We had a lovely time at one of the leaders in the church mom's house. It was beautiful and simply unforgettable, during this time I got to know our new 1st year student, Mike, and Pastor Bianca's baby, Makani. We were also fortunate enough to hear from Pastor Jeremiah's old Pastor, Pastor Moon.

We are in the process of learning new skits and dances for the seven projects that are to come this year including the one right here in Douglasville. I am very excited to see what God does in the schools right here. I know Pastor Jeremiah and Bianca have been praying for this for a very long time and I am so excited to see how it effects our church and our community as a whole. lets start with 1

Hey Everyone,

If your reading this it probably means that you got my support letter in the mail. I hope everyone liked the pictures and everything! The funding is still not going so good and my first payment is in a few days, so if it has been on your heart at all pray!!

My first day will be on Sept 2, I am very very excited about what the Lord has in store. I will be living with the thortons along with the only other girl student, Jessica. We will be going on our first trip on Wednesday just for a time of fun, fellowship, and seeking the Lord.

As you all know I spent the summer in New Orleans and it grieves me to say that there is another hurricane headed straight for the City, it doesn't look good. This news has weighed heavy on my heart since I found out. So if you guys see fit, please pray for some kind of intervention.
